To the person who was never enough,
How long have you been waking up on the wrong side of bed; trying to close your eyes again the moment you wake up, realizing how heavy the world is, so you furtively try to stay back in your dreams where you see more sollace, more serenity?
How long have you been questioning your own skin, your ability to attract people and the zest others should feel when around you?
Endless of questions run in your head. No one knows how much resentment lies in your eyes as people throw you in a deep ocean: sinking you, but not hearing your cries. I see how you secretly endure all the pressure, but never beaconing the sense of need or affection. You always keep it all through a smile, through your positive demeanor; making them never wonder how you are getting through each day. But do you ever wonder how all these questions can only be washed away by your own vision? You stress on things you never have control. You break your own heart for people who, from the beggining, have always done you wrong; and yet here you are, asking for closure, denying the blame you are pointing yourself for not being enough.
Tomorrow, I beg you the moment you wake up, whether on the right or wrong side of bed, just wake up. I beg you to look for your passion and make it as your motivation. I beg you to never sink in the deep ocean. You may not know how to swim, but at least try to paddle your way out to the shore. Please believe in your own imperfections, live with your flaws and, believe me, you are beautiful; without no doubt and no fear of saying. You are wise for choosing yourself and most importantly: you are strong.
